Coming up next: digital publishing award at Frankfurt Book Fair 2025

With only two months to go until our big awards ceremony at Frankfurt Book Fair, we thought we might share all the event details here in one place. We’re looking forward to seeing you all there! 

tl;dr: the hard facts

The awards ceremony of the 2025 digital publishing award will take place on October 15th from 3-4 pm at Frankfurt Book Fair, “International Stage” (between Halls 5 and 6). Here’s the event page. The ceremony is hosted by Publishing Perspectives' Erin Cox.

A quick reminder: Right before our awards ceremony, you can follow the current discussion on publishing innovations from a C-level perspective in Rüdiger Wischenbart’s “CEO Talk” (same stage, 2-3 pm).

We’ll start with a keynote by AkooBooks Audio’s Ama Dadson on an international perspective on innovation in publishing: "How African Innovators Are Reimagining the Future of Publishing". After that, Publishing Perspective’s Erin L. Cox will guide us through the shortlists in all 4 categories and announce the winners, supported by our valued jury members. The winners will then have the chance to address the audience with a short statement - either in person or per pre-recorded video. In the leader(ship) category there will be a laudation by a third party.
